My Dream Job
(6A) CHAN Tsz Wo, Leon

I want to be a fire fighter when I grow up because it is a meaningful job. If I become a fire fighter, I will rescue people from fires.

Fire fighters need to be fit and strong. They do exercises every day so that they can stay fit. They also need to be brave so that they can rescue people from fires. Fire fighters need to be calm too so that they can know where the fire starts.

I think this job is suitable for me because I am brave and calm. I am fit and strong too. I hope I can be a fire fighter one day.

Advice for Good Behaviour
(5A) VINUTHMEE Ann Shanika, Ann

It is important to behave well at home and in public places.

At home we should behave well. We should help our parents with the housework. We should be nice to them. We shouldn’t shout at our brothers or sisters. We should help them with their homework. We should take care of our grandparents too. We should listen to them. We should also be nice to the helper. We shouldn’t be mean to her.

When we are in public places, we should have good manners too. We should wait patiently at the bus stop. We shouldn’t talk loudly on the phone. We should offer our seats to the people in need on the bus. In the restaurant, we shouldn’t speak rudely to the waiter. We shouldn’t eat noisily. We should wait patiently for the food. At school, we shouldn’t quarrel with our classmates. We shouldn’t play tricks on them.

We should behave well at home as well as in public places.
