During December last year, I volunteered for the JPC’s game booth with my classmates. When I received the address of the booth, I was puzzled. I didn’t know how to get there. Fortunately, we found the place with the help of a nice resident

After arriving at Long Sin Estate, we prepared a game and tried to decorate the booth of JPC. This was my first time to hold a booth. I was thankful that YLJPC had chosen our school to do the preparation work for the booth.

I would like to introduce the game. Players had to choose a question card and answer the question by moving a table tennis ball to one of the four zones (A, B, C, or D). For instance, if the answer is D, you have to move the table tennis ball to zone D by moving the board. Apart from giving instructions to the players, I also needed to explain the answers.

In the afternoon, I was exhausted and thirsty. I realised that being a booth holder was hard. I have learnt that being caring is vital to a society. Different players have different abilities in playing the game. In fact, children played better than the elderly. If I didn’t care about their abilities, they could hardly play the game. In addition, I found that the real happiness does not come from wealth, it comes from helping others.
