It is touching for mothers to hear their kids saying “I love you” on Mother’s Day as an expression of appreciation. I showed my love to mum by both action and words. In that morning, I cooked a yummy breakfast for my mum to appreciate her support when I am in trouble. In the afternoon, we went shopping and chose a Mother’s day present together, and finally she picked a pair of shoes.
After returning home, I gave her a carnation, meaning “I love you” in flower language, as a surprise! My mum was so touched and hugged me. Mother's day is the best day to thank mum. I expressed “I love you, Mum” on that day. Don’t be shy to express your gratitude to your mother, try to speak it out!
