Former Wan Chai Gap Police Station's Guard House in the 1930s
Heritage Trail
Description
This guard house was part of the former Wan Chai Gap Police Station, which was completed in 1939 and served as a security facility for the police station. The guard house is a simple brick and stone structure with a quadrangular shape and windows on three sides. It used to be manned by police officers and served guarding and inspection functions. Although the guard house has now lost its original function, it has retained its historical and cultural value.
