The New Territories North Regional Committee on Complaints Prevention (NTN RCCP) earlier launched a competition on the theme of "Quality Interaction" to raise officers' awareness of complaint prevention. An award presentation ceremony was held at NTN Regional Headquarters on April 3.
Officers were encouraged to submit entries in text or images to share their frontline experience in preventing complaints. NTN RCCP received 65 entries from various formations in the Region. A panel comprising NTN Regional Commander Kwok Yam-yung and formation representatives from NTN RCCP selected the winners.
Mr Kwok was invited to present prizes and certificates to the winners at the award presentation ceremony. NTN RCCP Chairman cum Deputy Commander of Yuen Long District Chan Hon-ming gave an opening address in the ceremony and thanked all the contestants for their participation. He said the key to preventing complaints is to maintain professionalism and use empathy to help the public solve problems.
