St. Mary's Canossian College from Yau Tsim District represented Junior Police Call Leader Corps took part in the Youth Uniformed Groups' Parade cum Carnival in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR on July 16. CHEN Dong, Deputy Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR and LAU Kong-wah, Secretary for Home Affairs, inspected the parade before they set off at Victoria Park. After that, the Youth Silver Band led a parade of fifteen uniformed groups and marched to the Southorn Playground. With road closure implemented by the Police, the parade arrived at the end point at Southorn Playground safely.

The heavy rain did not dampen the spirits of our Leader Corps members and despite the weather they held their heads high. The confidence and team spirit displayed during the parade manifested the fine tradition of their school. St. Mary's Canossian College Junior Police Call Leader Corps, comprising twenty-one Secondary One to Secondary Four students, was awarded the Best Footdrill Squad in the 2016 JPC Leader Corps Annual Parade. Their success is the result of their perseverance, dedication, and also the unfailing support of our police volunteers.
