With lively footsteps and a wide grin on my face, I half skipped into the Kowloon Park Swimming Pool. Being a fan of diving ever since I was 6 years old, I just couldn't help feeling grateful and thrilled. This time, I went as a JPC Reporter Cadre member. Having spent my whole life loving speaking, I was beyond overwhelmed.

I just love the performances and interaction between the divers and the audience. Once in a blue moon could I be that close to Olympic gold medalists and watch them live. They are really skilled and professional. I simply can't imagine how much effort they put in to achieve such outstanding performances. They are truly my inspiration and motivation to strive for my dream to the very best.

As a JPC Reporter Cadre member, it is my duty to interview people. At the beginning I was a bit unsure. What if I messed it up? What if I stuttered really badly? What if.... Thankfully, with the encouragement from others, I successfully interviewed two JPC members and had them share with us their thoughts and feelings on the event. Moreover, when I was leaving, I was even interviewed by a journalist outside. Frankly, being an interviewee and an interviewer in 15 minutes was really a bit nerve-wracking. Despite that, I always like to think of a quote: Don't limit your challenges, challenge your limits.

Time flies, but memories last forever. Whenever I walk by Kowloon Park, I'll definitely think of September 23, 2017 again. I'm sure that even after one year, two years, three years… I'll never forget this ecstatic day.
