JPC Leader of Wong Tai Sin District
CHEUNG Ho-chai

On January 14, I joined an online Hong Kong Basic Law and National Security Law seminar to update my knowledge on the new issued law. Speaking at the seminar, lawyer Mr CHIU Kai-ting, also a former policeman, explained the detailed clauses of the National Security Law and gave examples of punishments to the offenders.

Through the whole discussion section, I understood that teenagers were vulnerable and easily influenced by others to commit crimes. The issuance of the new National Security Law is to remind us to stay vigilant on crimes. It is important to be good citizens all the time as once you commit crime, there will be no chance to remain innocent anymore.

Apart from learning more on the laws, I was also reminded to keep my personal record clean all the time. Therefore, I would like to thank Mr CHIU Kai-ting and the host, Acting District Commander of Wong Tai Sin Police District, Mr CHEUNG Shun-ho, for speaking at this meaningful seminar.
