My favourite extra-curricular activity is volleyball, which I first experienced in my primary five physical education lesson. It was fun, special and required teamwork from six players. I have fallen in love with this sport since my first attempt.

There are many rules in a volleyball competition, and the most important rule is not to let the volleyball touch the ground. Each player has a special role and the spiker, setter, outside hitter, opposite hitter, middle blocker and libero have to cooperate well to toss the volleyball to the competitor’s court to score a point. Communication is the key to success. As a captain and the setter of my team, my job is to communicate with the judge and set the ball perfectly for the spiker to score.

Volleyball is not an easy sport and it requires physical strength and a lot of communication with teammates. Therefore, make sure you notice these points if you want to try volleyball.
