Mum always cooks delicious food for us, who has been devoting her greatest efforts to the family. All of us are obsessed about her dishes. I always want to assist my mum in cooking, but she would not allow me to do so due to safety reason.

Recently, my mum likes to make jelly and herbal tea in the kitchen. After explaining my passion on cooking with her, she finally allowed me to make the dish and drink together with her. She teaches me patiently on how to use knife to chop fruits, and the way to mix jelly powder. I am grateful that I did not mess up anything, and I also found my talents in cooking as well. My mum was surprised by my performance, as I did not have any cooking experience.

Cooking is something amazing, which is not only life-skill, but also a meaningful parent-child activity that enable youth to develop congnitive and perceptual abilities. Setting your tension aside, it is time to create a special dish with your family together !
