Have you achieved the goals in 2020? Planning is important and it is a right time to set goals for the year ahead.

To start with, take a pen and paper to write a to-do list for next year in the areas of personal, professional, and leisure time. For me, becoming a better and mature person is my personal goal, and I prioritize interactions with family and friends to seek for experiences that will enhance myself. I am planning to visit my family next year and working on the schedules and budget. Friends are important too, I'm also planning to spend more time with friends, especially the new ones I have met in recent years.

For professional goals, I will find ways to deal with procrastination and to learn conflict management, an area that I generally avoid. For you, professional goals could be anything that enhances your education and career.

Leisure is another area that everybody loves to talk about. Where would you go next year? Which new hobby would you like to learn? Which activities would you like to try?

My goals in this area are related to sports and travelling. I want to practice for my second half marathon and improve my mountain biking skills. Furthermore, I will try to travel to different parts in the world after the pandemic to enrich my experiences.

When you plan this part, you have to think about the free time and how much you can afford with. Try to strike a balance between time and budget, and the sweet spot is where you should pick.

Create your action plan for 2021 now for a fruitful upcoming year!
