I felt honored being invited to host an online Japanese tutorial programme produced by Kwun Tong JPC. The experience was memorable yet challenging.
During the filming process, I had to role-play a Cantonese speaker who does not know any Japanese language. It was quite difficult for me as I began to self-study Cantonese this year. Therefore, remembering all the lines in Cantonese whilst avoiding re-take was hard for a Cantonese beginner. I strived my best to apply what I learned during my internship, which required Cantonese as a primary language and thus brushed up my Chinese speaking, reading, and writing skills, to compensate for my weakness.
This experience has motivated me to further improve my Cantonese so that I can perform better in the upcoming episodes. Fingers crossed.
