Mr Leung (fifth from right, front row) and Commissioner Lo Wai-chung (sixth from right, front row) congratulate the police awardeesChief Executive (CE) Mr C Y Leung presented honours and awards to 322 recipients, including 37 serving and retired members of the Force, at the 2016 Honours and Awards Presentation Ceremony at the Government House on October 29.
Heading the list of the Force recipients were Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Lau Yip-shing, former Commandant of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force Yiu Yeung-lung, Assistant Commissioner (Information Systems) Lam Man-wing and former Chief Superintendent Wise Choy, who were presented with the Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
Twenty-two officers received the Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Furthermore, 10 officers were awarded the CE's Commendation for Government/Public Service while one officer was presented with the CE's Commendation for Community Service.
